Texas Department of Health rules require that Class C pools, like ours, have 2 lifeguards on duty when guards are provided. In order to be able to afford providing lifeguards, the HOA Board has reduced guarded hours to 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm, 7 days a week

Unaccompanied Minors:

Minors age 9 through 17 are allowed to swim without a supervising adult during the hours that the lifeguards are present, at the discretion of the guard, assuming they can prove that they are able to swim the length of the pool. All minors arriving alone need to check in with the guard upon arrival.

Outside of the 1:00 to 5:00 pm lifeguard hours, NO LIFEGUARD WILL BE PRESENT AND YOU  SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Unaccompanied minors, age 17 and younger, are not allowed to enter the pool area during the NON-lifeguard hours without a parent or supervising adult.

If you wish to restrict operation of your entry FOB to the times when guards will be present, (1:00 – 5:00 pm daily), please indicate this on your membership application and your FOB will be programmed accordingly.

Bringing Guests:

All members may bring guests who are NOT residents of Granada Hills, Granada Estates, or Granada Oaks. Please limit guests to 2 individuals or one family unless you buy wristbands, with which you may invite as many guest as you like. Wristbands for one-time pool use are available for purchase by any Granada Home Owners Association member for $5.00 each, whether they have a pool membership or not. Please contact the Volunteer Pool Coordinator to purchase wristbands.

Pool Parties:

The Granada Pool is available for private rental. The cost for a 3 hour rental is $225 for pool members and $275 for non-members. This price includes 2 required lifeguards for the party regardless of the number of guests expected. Times that can be reserved are any day from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm or any evening from 7:00 to 10:00 pm subject to availability. To reserve the pool, download the GH Pool Rental Agreement by clicking on the DOCUMENTS tab above and dropping the filled out form in the mailbox at the park with a $100 deposit check.
